Hoops Brings a New Brand of Lo-Fi Pop to The Sinclair

Indiana four-piece Hoops have proven with their debut album Routines that they are a unique band in this day and age. Their dreamy, repetitive beats are a refreshing break from the standard music being put out, resembling a revived, and well-revised shoegaze band. While on tour, Hoops supported the Clientele coming to Boston for a night of bursting beachy vibes in the midst of a gloomy fall day. The band played several favorites like the jazzy, nostalgic Gemini and the “one song you can probably dance to,” Rules.

Hoops are currently touring with The Drums. Information for tickets can be found here. Listen to their album Routines here.
